Get Tickets for Comedian Pat Hazell in THE WONDER BREAD YEARS
On Stage at Temple Theater Nov. 23
LUFKIN, TX. THE WONDER BREAD YEARS, a knee-slapping, funny-bone tapping, laugh-out-loud night of comedy awaits theatergoers Saturday, November 23rd, 7:30 pm at the Temple Theater. Tickets are available to see this heartwarming, humorous comedic salute to baby boomers and pop culture. Pat Hazell, writer and sole performer, shares his hilarious remembrances in the fast-paced show that walks the line between stand-up comedy and theatre. Pat is back in Lufkin by popular demand! Last season, he was the opening act for Paul Reiser and many felt Pat stole the show! Once the Lufkin audience got a taste of THE WONDER BREAD YEARS, they insisted on ‘a second helping.’ Presented by Angelina Arts Alliance, tickets for THE WONDER BREAD YEARS are $24-$31 ($41/Premium). Goodwin-Lasiter, Inc., Scott & Strong, Architects, Urgent Doc, and Popeyes are the show sponsors. 2013-2014 Season Sponsors are Lufkin Industries, Inc., and Memorial Health System of East Texas.
Pat Hazell will also lead a Writer’s Workshop, “Lufkin to Hollywood”, on Saturday morning Nov. 23 at 11 am, in the Community Services building, room 104, on the Angelina College campus. Pat will speak from experience – on relevant topics such as how to create original content, pointers for writing comedy, and what goes on ‘behind the scenes’. The hour-long workshop is FREE, open to the public. Pat will offer expert advice for anyone interested in writing comedy for TV, stage or screen. Hazell is a veteran stand-up comedian, producer, and writer/playwright, but most significantly — one of the original writers for NBC’s Seinfeld. America has seen Pat on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, and Jay Leno. Showtime declared Pat Hazell, “One of the Five Funniest People in America.”
